Jute is a highly durable, golden vegetable fibre that is extremely strong and breathable — perfect for heavy groceries or beach gear. Cotton is softer, lightweight, and easily foldable, making it ideal for everyday shopping and delicate items.

We do not recommend machine washing jute. Instead, spot clean with a damp sponge and mild detergent. Machine washing can cause jute to lose its shape and shed fibres.

Most of our 100% cotton bags can be hand-washed or machine-washed on a cool, gentle cycle. We recommend air drying to prevent shrinkage and to preserve any printed designs.

Yes! Both jute and cotton are 100% natural, compostable, and biodegradable fibres. When your bag eventually reaches the end of its long life, it will return to the earth without leaving a trace.

Our jute bags are designed for strength. Depending on the size, they can typically carry between 10kg to 15kg comfortably, making them much more reliable than plastic or thin fabric alternatives.

While cotton and jute are naturally absorbent, some of our tech pouches feature a protective inner lining. Check the Materials section on the product page for specific water-resistance details.

Because jute is a natural plant fibre, it can have a mild, earthy scent when new. This is completely normal and will naturally disappear after a few days of use in a well-ventilated area.

Yes. We prioritise bags that use AZO-free dyes and sustainable printing methods to ensure our products are as kind to the environment as they are to you.

Like all natural cotton, a tiny amount of shrinkage (approx. 5%) can occur if washed in hot water. To keep your bag its original size, always wash in cool water and pull it into shape while damp.
