Aromatherapy FAQ
Are your essential oils 100% pure? ▼
Yes. Our essential oils are 100% pure, natural plant extracts. They are unadulterated and free from synthetic additives, ensuring you receive the full therapeutic benefits of the plant.
What is a carrier oil and why do I need one? ▼
Essential oils are highly concentrated and can cause irritation if applied directly to the skin. A carrier oil (like Sweet Almond or Jojoba) is used to dilute them safely for massage or topical use.
Can I ingest your essential oils? ▼
No. Our essential oils are for external use only (inhalation or topical application when diluted). They should never be taken internally.
Are your oils safe to use during pregnancy? ▼
While many oils are safe, some should be avoided during pregnancy. We always recommend consulting with a qualified aromatherapist or your doctor before using new essential oils during this time.
What are floral waters (hydrosols) and how do I use them? ▼
Floral waters are the gentle by-product of the steam distillation process. They are much lighter than oils and can be used as facial toners, linen sprays, or cooling body mists directly on the skin.
What is an essential oil blend? ▼
These are expert combinations of several pure oils designed for a specific purpose, such as Sleep, Focus, or Relaxation. They take the guesswork out of mixing your own.
How should I store my aromatherapy products? ▼
Light and heat can degrade the quality of your oils. Store them in a cool, dark place, and always ensure the lids are tightly sealed to prevent oxidation.
Can I use essential oils around my pets? ▼
Pets are much more sensitive to scents than humans. Some oils (like Tea Tree or Peppermint) can be toxic to cats and dogs. Always use a well-ventilated room and monitor your pet's behaviour.
What is the best way to use aromatherapy on the go? ▼
Our portable items, like rollerballs or inhaler sticks, are designed for convenience. Simply apply to pulse points or inhale deeply whenever you need a mindful moment during your busy day.
Are your oil products safety checked and passed? ▼
Yes. As part of our commitment to safety and transparency, we have CLP and safety certification for all our professional-grade oils.
